[Gadget Deals] Aigo is having a trade-in offer till 31st March 2011 this year. For Aigo’s photo frames and iPhone Battery Pack. Offers only at Suntec and Golden Shoe Carpark.

I use my iPad as my digital photo frame, showing my 75 year-old grandmother photos of my little cousins. She enjoyed that experience a lot, especially since these days we tend to keep our photos on our Facebook or computers. A territory that grandparents seldom access.

As a result, my grandmother is also pleasantly surprise to see lots of photos that she is in but not seen them!

So there, get a digital photo frame, or a tablet, share your photos with your family.

[Gadget News] How do you know Android’s stock is rising in Singapore? Well, if you get a dedicated page from SingTel.

The microsite basically shows some local apps available on Android, not forgetting some SingTel’s Android apps, and showcased some of the latest phones running the Google’s operating system. Really not a big deal but I thought it it a good start for anyone who is interested to switch to Android.

Meanwhile, you might want to also check out the official web with a full collection of Android apps, via the link below.

[Gadget News] Want an iPhone 4? Out of contract? How about getting one from the Apple online store at S$888. A price well below what it is selling for in the local forums such HWZ (price in forum range from S$960 to S$1100 for a 16gb set).

Apple Singapore has just reopened sales of the iPhone 4 in it’s online store after the low stock level forces them to stop selling the Apple’s famous gadget online.

Of course, the difference is that you probably have to wait for 2 weeks before becoming yet another iPhone owner in Singapore while the sellers in the forum have ready stocks.

Otherwise, you might want to consider joining the Android community in Singapore. A platform that boast many apps of equivalence to the iOS App store, except in the gaming department. Android needs more games!

[New Gadget] Milestone 2 is literally a milestone for the Google’s Android operating system. The original Milestone (also known as Droid in the US), is one of the best selling Android mobile device since it’s launch. This first Motorola Milestone is also one of the few older devices that started off with Android version 2.1 and subsequently received an update to 2.2.

  • 116.3 x 60.5 x 13.7 mm, 169g
  • TFT capacitive touchscreen, 480 x 854 pixels, 3.7 inches (Gorilla glass)
  • 8 GB system storage; 512MB RAM
  • 5 MP, 2592х1944 pixels, autofocus, dual-LED flash (720p@30fps video recording)
  • 1 GHz Cortex-A8 processor, PowerVR SGX530 GPU, TI OMAP3630 chipset
  • Android OS, v2.2 (Froyo)

Motorola Milestone 2 is a slider which remains a rarer form factor in the market with the HTC Desire HD as the other. And that could be just the factor why you would choose be a customer of Motorola.

However, high resolution matters and Milestone 2’s 480 x 854 pixels is obviously not the best in the market. But then again, the rest of the competition are finding it hard to match the powers of the Super AMOLED and Retina display.

Motorola Milestone 2 makes it’s debut on Singtel with S$348 with a 2 year plan, S$100 less than that of the HTC Desire HD whom has a bigger screen estate. This is also the first time a Milestone is not retailed exclusively by Starhub whom has previously exclusively selling Milestone and Milestone XT720.
